The fragranace is inspired by the streets of Milan's Isola district. The quarter got its name because of its isolated position in relation to the rest of the city. This was largely due to the laying of the Turin-Venice railway, which cut the old Via Comazina. The quarter is home to residential buildings and many shops, as well as the headquarters of various cultural associations, restaurants and clubs, making this area one of the busiest in Milan. Inside the quarter, houses most often have a courtyard and galleries, there are Liberty-style mansions and buildings representative of "Milanese rationalism", for example, the houses of Giringelli, Toninello and Rustici-Comolli, built in the 30s by architects Pietro Lingeri and Giuseppe Terragni.

Celebrated master perfumer Véronique Nyberg worked around the different facets of essential oil made from fennel leaves to create a new aromatic note that is as luminous, fresh and light like as air but with a warm and captivating finish All the ingredients were selected and carefully measured according to the innovative Green Motion sustainability project from the Mane essential oils house.
